CNN announced CEO Chris Licht will leave the company. The move comes days after The Atlantic published an article noting that employees had become angry by multiple moves Licht made including a town hall that was held with Former President Trump in May. - Link


Goldman Sachs has lowered the recession probability over the next 12 months from 35% to 25% citing an improvement in U.S. debt ceiling issue and the resolution of the banking crisis. -Link


Sam Altman, the co-founder and CEO OpenAI, informed a small group of developers and startup founders in London that the company has no intentions of releasing additional consumer-facing products like ChatGPT. -Link


The World Bank predicts that the global economy will grow at 2.1% this year due to heightened interest rates, rising inflation, and fallout from the banking crisis. The forecast represents a sharp decline from the 3.1% growth seen in 2022. -Link
